Antique Desk Perpetual Calendar

An antique wooden perpetual desk calendar displaying the date only.

I have spent some time getting this calendar back to good working order. A 'rescue' job perhaps as the previous owner had used glue and varnish to bodge a repair on the face plate badly broken in three pieces. I have necessarily converted the back plate to a front plate and used a piece of ply to replace the back. The linen scroll has some staining to to several of the early numbers. There are a couple of minor losses to the pediment.

The 'date only' display is unusual and makes for an easily read display from across the room.
