Huge Tintin Carved Wooden Figure

A huge carved wooden figure of Tintin and Snowy. 

"Herge's  adventures of Tintin" was a cartoon favourite for me and many others in the 1960s  and 70s.

Created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi (Herge) in 1929, Tintin has been around for nearly 100 years and is still popular today. Originally a comic strip, "The adventures of Tintin" has also been adapted for TV, film and stage.

These carved wooden figures of Tintin come in several sizes. This is the largest I have discovered standing at 118 cm (46" approx.) including the base. An imposing presence in any room.
