Industrial Foundry Mould

A colourful industrial foundry mould or pattern in the shape of a turbine fan.

 

Made from a translucent blue rubber on a solid painted base (assumed to be coated / painted wood). It is a heavy, solid piece.

 

These moulds tend to be one-off pieces and consequently lend themselves to being an interesting piece of industrial wall art or curio.

 

Markings to the edge suggest use in 2004.

 

The piece is 34.5 cm in diameter.
