Large Vintage Meccano Model

A large vintage model of a Showman's or Traction engine made entirely from Meccano. The model is accompanied by a free standing advertising board showing the same model and a Meccano brochure.

This model could only be made from Set 10; the most expensive and extensive Meccano set available at the time. Probably 1950s in origin and likely to have been a shop display model.

The model has an electric motor to provide power to make this a working model. I am unsure of the specifications of the motor. The brochure indicates either a 6 volt or 20 volt motor requiring a battery or transformer, neither of which is present.

In nice condition but with evidence of age and use. A stunning decorative piece.
