Painted Metal Sign

Vintage painted metal, double sided sign, 'HOTEL'

Designed to be hung from the lugs at the top ends but could be easily mounted as wall art using a chain or cord.

Age unknown but estimated to be early to mid 20th century. 

The combination of red letters on a white background, makes this a striking decorative piece and an effective piece of advertising for the hotel.

Obvious evidence of age and weathering as per the images. I have applied a rust stabiliser to some of the exposed metal which has begun to corrode (shows as black in the images). The sign is sturdy and robust, being a framed heavy gauge metal sheet.
