Set of Seven Antique Bronze Nesting Troy Weights

A set of seven bronze alloy nesting cup weights.

Weights from 32 oz to 1/2 oz. The weight of each is marked on the rim with Roman numerals. Opposite on the rim is stamped what appears to be the letter 'R' (actually TR). Tndicates the weights are Troy Ounces. No markings to the 1/2 ounce weight.

Stamped to the inside base of each cup is a 'ewer' and '1826'.

Much less common that the smaller apothcary weights of a similar design these Troy weights are for weighing precious metal.
