The calendar carries the crest for the Lancashire Fusiliers. Engraving reads "PRESENTED TO THE RIGHT, REVD, J C HILL. D.D. BY THE OFFICERS DEPOT THE LANCASHIRE FUSILIERS 1ST OCTOBER 1930"
Monthly changes required using the cards contained within the wooden housing access via a hinged door. All cards present for each monthly change. Unsure if original cards.
The knobs to the top turn a scroll which originally would blank out days as the month progressed. The scroll film is present but split into two. It could possibly be repaired by the buyer.
