A nice example of the "Zip" clockwork, tinplate, toy boat, manufactured by Sutcliffe Pressings Ltd. Sadly, the company, which traded from 1885, ceased in 1984.

Thought to be one of the later models (probably late 1970s or early 1980s). This example of the "Zip" comes with its original box, key and internal packaging. A scarce model in any condition and extremely collectable.

I can confirm that the clockwork motor is in working condition. The plastic windscreen in present and in excellent condition. A small amount of paint loss as shown in the images.

Approximate length: Bow to Stern 24cm (26cm including the rudder).
