  • A tinplate toy crane made by the renowned company Sutcliffe Pressings Ltd from 1965. Known more commonly for their clockwork tinplate boats, Sutcliffe's also produced a number of other products for the toy market. Regrettably, the company succumbed to the plastic invasion from the far east in 1984, just one year short of its centenary.

    This example is is excellent order and comes with its original packaging. 

    As a guide, the height to the top of the cab is 19cm (7 1/2").
