An unusually large vintage Salter spring balance with a polished brass face plate. An attractive and impressive decorative piece.
Estimated to be late 19th or early 20th Century in origin.
The brass face plate is 54cm x 10.7cm (21 1/4 inches x 4 1/4 inches)
In working order but offered as a decorative piece rather than a precision instrument.
Would look superb displayed with an antique set of brass bell weights or similar.
