Vintage Barbers Chair

A beech wood, adjustable barbers chair for a child. Adjusted up or down by rotating the seat section. 

I am unable to directly attribute this chair to Thonet but the quality and use of bentwood throughout, is closely similar to that style. Only two rear seat slats are not bentwood.

An early 20th Century style.

The rattan seat is in excellent condition. The adjusting screw operates smoothly. There are some old woodworn holes, mainly to one foot. All have been treated. 

An unusual quality piece.
