Vintage Clockwork Toy Boat 'Tiger'
A vintage collectable clockwork tinplate model boat by Sutcliffe.
In excellent working order with original box and key. Some minor wear / damage to the box. I have tested the clockwork mechanism and can confirm it is in working order after more than 40 years in its box!
Sutcliffe Pressings Ltd of Horsforth ceased business in 1984, after 99 years of production. The boat on offer is from the latter years of production (post decimalisation).
Very collectable as well as being a piece of social and industrial history.
Boat length, approx. 9 inches.
