Vintage Milliner's Wooden Hat Block

A vintage Milliner's wooden hat block. Shown mounted on an old shop metal hat stand (reduced in height). Block slightly modified to accommodate the upright.

The age of the block is not known but is estimated to be early or mid 20th Century. In what appears to be the 'Stetson' style, its origin may be American.

The block comes in two pieces, as made. In nice condition but note, there appears to have been a split repair to the bottom part. Is in firm and robust condition.

Can be displayed either with or without the stand.
