Vintage Toy Horse on Wheels

A vintage wooden toy horse on wheels.

Whilst in very distressed condition as per the images, it retains a certain charm and nostalgic link to the early/mid 20th century. Although in 'working order', in that the horse is wheelable, it is offered as a decorative piece only.

I believe that originally a rear handle for pushing (push along) would have existed. Bridle parts are missing. The leather 'saddle' appears to be original, as does the paintwork.

Possibly a scratch built piece but I also feel it has the look of a 'Tri-ang' style toy from the early 20th century.

Approx. dimensions:  Height: 41cm  Length 40cm  Width 14.5cm
