  • A large vintage wooden mallet in superbly distressed condition. Age unknown but assumed to be early 20th century or earlier.

    Probably used by a stonemason or sculptor, the mallet bears the marks of a long history of purposeful use which, in the process, has unintentionally taken on a sculptural form itself.

    Dimensions (approx.)  Height (including the handle) 27cm. Handle only 13cm.  Top circumference 9.5cm. Bottom circumference 16.5cm.
